MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on the city’s south side around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officers were notified of a shooting near the intersection of S. 22nd St. and W. Orchard Ave., where they found a woman with a serious gunshot wound.
The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted lifesaving procedures, but the victim died from her injuries.
MPD continues to investigate the incident.
