One man dead, another hurt in separate overnight shootings in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating two early morning Labor Day shootings. 

According to police, a 38-year-old, Milwaukee man was killed near N. 25th St. and W Wells St. around 12:34 a.m., Monday. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

The second incident happened a minute later near N. 21st St. and W. Locust St. around 12:35 a.m. A 30-year-old, Milwaukee man suffered a serious gunshot injury, and was expected to survive his injuries. 

The circumstances leading up to both shootings are under investigation, and so far, no suspects have been arrested for either.
