MILWAUKEE-- One person was killed and another was injured after shots were fired into a vehicle in Milwaukee late Friday night.

The incident happened near 51st and Lisbon just before midnight.

Police said that the victims were siting inside a car when someone that was known to them fired shots.

The car then traveled forward and collided with a building.

A 20-year-old man died on the scene from his wounds. A 32-year-old man was seriously injured and was taken to a local hospital.

The suspect was taken into custody a short distance away by a detective.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
