One killed in second consecutive night of shootings in Milwaukee this week

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police responded to at least two shootings overnight in the second consecutive night of shootings in the city.

One man was shot and killed around 10:30 p.m. Monday near 92nd and Silver Spring.

Police responded to a non-fatal shooting near 63rd and Bobolink just before 11:30 p.m.

The shootings come just hours after Chief Ed Flynn said his officers continue to put pressure on state lawmakers for tougher penalties for those who choose to use guns carelessness and illegally.

CBS 58's Marshanna Hester has more.
