One injured in overnight shooting on city's northwest side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police were called to a shooting near N. 86th Street and Joyce Avenue, the city's far northwest side, shortly after midnight Friday.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, was walking to his car when multiple gunshots were fired in his direction. He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound, was taken to an area hospital and treated for his injury.

No one is in custody at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
