Updated: Saturday, May 4th 6:45pm:

The worst of the storms have moved out over Lake Michigan this evening, but not before producing 50 mph winds and plenty of hail. There are a few lingering storms right along the cold front itself east of West Bend, but they will stay below severe limits.

Severe weather is not expected for the remainder of the evening with any rain exiting the area by 9pm at the latest.

Updated: Saturday, May 4th 4:20pm:

Scattered storms have been developing for the last couple of hours ahead of a cold front. They're starting to congeal into more organized storms as they track NE at 30 mph.

Most storms have been behaving themselves so far, but a hail core is perking up over Cold Spring.

Strong to borderline severe storms are possible for the next few hours as the cold front continues to push east. All of southeast Wisconsin is under a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe storms this evening. Gusty winds and hail are the main concerns with storms.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Keep an eye to the sky for the chance of showers and storms later Saturday afternoon into the evening hours. A few could pulse up to near severe limits as well.  There's another good chance of storms on Tuesday as well.  And then still the risk for some activity on Thursday.  Highs in the low 70s on Saturday, but then they back off on Sunday as winds become onshore.  Look for more 60s and 70s this coming week as well.  Hopefully Mother's Day weekend will be quiet.

"Marginal Risk" for the southern tier of the viewing area...
