One dies in early morning car crash in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) --A woman died  at the scene of a two car accident on the 16th Street viaduct near the Potawatomi Hotel and Casino  in Milwaukee early this morning .   The woman was a passenger in a car driven by a 25-year-old man who was seriously injured in the crash.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.   Despite lifesaving efforts, the woman died at the scene of the accident.

According to the Milwaukee Police, around 1:30 AM, the driver of the north bound car apparently lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center line, sliding directly into the path of an oncoming Jeep. 

The driver of the Jeep and three passengers were injured in the crash.   Three males, ages 25-, 24- and 21-years-old and a 21-year-old female were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
