One dead, three injured after two motorcycles and a car collide

OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two motorcycles collided with each other and then into a vehicle, killing one motorcyclist and injuring three others Saturday afternoon in Outagamie County.

The crash occurred on State Highway 15 at Cross Road near Hortonville around 2:51 p.m.

The investigation into the accident shows that a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by a 24-year-old man from Manawa and a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by a 31-year-old man from Manawa collided with each other when negotiating a curve in the road. The collision caused both motorcyclists to enter the southbound lane of State Highway 15 where they were both hit by a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 27-year-old women from New London with a 25-year-old passenger from Freedom. Both motorcyclists lost control from the collision and were both ejected.

The 31-year-old man who was riding the 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle was killed in the crash. The 24-year-old man who was riding the 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was transported to a hospital in Neenah for serious injuries. The 27-year-old driver of the Chevrolet Cruze and her 25-year-old passenger were treated and released at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation and the names of the persons involved in the accident are not being released at this time.
