One Critical After Car Pedestrian Accident in Brookfield

Two Missouri women are in the hospital this morning, one reported to be in critical condition, after being struck by a car while crossing a busy street in Brookfield around 9:10 Sunday night.  The second woman is in stable condition.  According to the Brookfield Police, the women, ages 57 and 63-years-old, of St. Charles and Clarksville, MO were crossing at the northeast corner Greenfield Avenue and Moorland Road on foot when they were struck by a car driven by a 24-year-old Brookfield woman.  Brookfield Police and Fire Department personnel performed CPR on one of the victims before both were transported to the hospital.  The driver of the car was not arrested and is cooperating with the Brookfield Police as they continue to investigate the accident.
