Officials: Man's body pulled from Lake Michigan in Racine County

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man's body was pulled from Lake Michigan in Racine County on Friday morning, Oct. 2. 

The Racine County Medical Examiner's Office says the body was recovered around 10:30 a.m., in the area of Racine Zoo Beach -- off Augusta Street and Michigan Boulevard. 

The name of the victim is not being released at this time. An autopsy is scheduled. 

The Racine Police Department was at the scene, with assistance from the Racine County Sheriff's Office and Mount Pleasant Police Department.
