Officials: 18 pounds of methamphetamine seized during search warrant executions in Milwaukee

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Search warrants executed in Milwaukee Tuesday morning, Feb. 10, netted 18 pounds of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and more. 

According to the Chicago US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), at 6 a.m. Tuesday, the DEA Milwaukee District Office, alongside the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department, Milwaukee Police Department, and West Allis Police Department served search warrants throughout Milwaukee. 

The warrants resulted in the arrests of two people, and officials say they found 18 pounds of methamphetamine, one kilogram of fentanyl, a half kilogram of cocaine, and one firearm. 

Federal charges are pending.
