Off-duty prison guard arrested after spitting at MPD officer

MILWAUKEE -- 28-year-old Elizabeth Kulis is facing a felony charge after allegedly attempting to spit on a Milwaukee police officer. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says Kulis works as a state prison guard with the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility.
A Milwaukee police officer found Kulis engaged in a fight in the Water St. bar area at 1:45 a.m. While in the pre-booking area, Kulis allegedly tried to spit on an officer.
Kulis is chared withThrowing Bodily Fluids at a Public Safety Officer. If convicted, she faces up to 3.5 years in prison.
