MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With Mardi Gras falling a day before Valentine's Day this year, love filled the air at one senior living complex in Oak Creek Tuesday night.

The people in this room say it's the songs that take them back. They're listening to the iconic King of Rock 'n Roll. Even Elvis impersonators half a century later still make the ladies swoon.

This impersonator's no different. He wooed the ladies at The Waters of Oak Creek Senior Living Community's Mardi Gras party Tuesday night, showering them with love songs and colorful beads.

"You just got into the swing of things. I mean when he was there, it was just like they're acting now," said Dorothy Cigale.

And in the middle of this Mardi Gras party, we found a love story.

Dorothy and Leo Cigale met in the 1950s when Elvis Presley was just getting started.

"So, he would come and watch me when I'd play softball and he'd get upset because when I'd slide into any of the bases cause I ended up getting scraped knees," Dorothy Cigale said.

"And I'm cringing every time she'd slide," Leo said. "He would fix my knees up and whatever," said Dorothy.

Just a few months into the relationship, Leo says he knew Dorothy was the one, but it took him years to finally propose.

"That was seven years or five years after it, so, that's a long courtship...You got to make sure," Dorothy and Leo laughed.

The couple's stayed strong through the years, just doing things together, like this interview.

"Just sit in Humboldt Park and listen to a concert or something, watch a parade," said Dorothy Cigale.

"I tell you, we never had a drag down fight. It takes two people to fight," said Leo.

And after 62 years of marriage, the Cigales continue to hold hands.

Asked if she's still his Valentine, Leo said yes, and she's my only one.
