FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Franklin Common Council voted unanimously Tuesday, April 21 to raise the sound limit at the Rock Sports Complex from 55 to 65 decibels for another year.

The complex has drawn noise complaints over several seasons, though council members said the community was less frustrated this year after regulations were put in place. The change lasts for the duration of UWM Panthers and Milwaukee Milkmen baseball seasons, a period lasting through Sept. 7.

The council confirmed the complex is actively tracking sound levels before approving the increase.
