We Energies OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We Energies has announced that the first peregrine falcon egg of the season has been laid at the Oak Creek Power Plant.
More eggs are expected to be laid over the coming days, with chicks emerging potentially in a little over a month, according to a Friday, March 20 press release about the new egg.
The parents, Essity and Joel, are watching over the egg, but they will not be naming the chick: the public is making that decision. We Energies is holding a naming contest for the 2026 peregrine falcon nesting season.
