No officers will face charges in fatal shooting of Racine County man

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- No officers will face charges in a police chase that ended in the death of a 38-year-old man in Racine County.

Eight officers fired their weapons, killing Timothy Burgess.

It all started when Mount Pleasant police got a call about a domestic incident on May 22.

Burgess left before they got there. Hours later, police tried to pull him over, and Burgess ran away and tried to hide near Clayton Park.

Police ordered Burgess to surrender, but he did not.

Officials say he fired at the officers first.
