Woman in custody after allegedly stabbing man during domestic dispute incident
CBS 58 WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 37-year-old woman is in custody after police responded to a report of woman yelling that she was being beaten at a home along W. Mitchell Street early Saturday morning, Feb. 7.
When police arrived, they found a 37-year-old man near S. 88th and W. Lapham St. with two stab wounds to the abdomen.
He was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation found that a 37-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman got into a verbal argument that turned physical.
Police say that the woman armed herself with a knife and started swinging at the man, striking him.
Officers found the woman and arrested her for first degree recklessly endangering safety and domestic violence.
Police found that they previously lived together.
The incident is being reviewed by the District Attorney's Office.
