Police arrest bank robber in Racine Friday morning

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police arrested a 20-year-old South Milwaukee man who robbed a bank on Main Street in Racine on Friday morning, Sept. 10.

Police report that authorities responded to North Shore Bank at 3911 N. Main Street at 9:05 a.m. Friday in reference to a bank robbery.

Officials say that after the robbery, the 20-year-old male suspect fled the bank on foot heading north.

Racine police indicate that following a foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody by Caledonia and Racine police

Investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime.
