New Year, New You? Free Apps to Help Get Fit

The holidays are over, so it's time to get in shape. Nathan Fricke with AT&T joined us live on the CBS 58 News at 4 to tell us about a few FREE apps that can help people lead an active and healthy lifestyle.

The three apps are: 

"Lose It"
o    Set a weight management program
o    Food tracker helps maintains calorie count
o    Tracks  your weight and goals
o    Earn badges for progress

o    Set a program to walk our run
o    Tracks the distance traveled, time and pace
o    Voice update while you are walking/running

"Workout Trainer"
o    Thousands of free workouts complete with timed step-by-step audio and video instructions to help you get into shape
o    In addition to the built-in workouts, users can access the library to build their own custom routines and share them online, as well as try out routines shared by the community

Fricke says all three are available for Android and iPhone users.
