A new study states that people who were exposed to lead as children are more likely to have a lower IQ and a lower socioeconomic status as adults.
That's according to the study done from Duke University. Researchers found children who had higher amounts of lead in their blood at age 11 were more likely to have lower cognitive function at age 38.
