New Study Shows There's Real Fear When It Comes to Severe Weather

A brand new study by Ball State University says some of us lose sleep or have real anxiety because of severe weather.  Approximately 300 people in 43 states took part in the research.

When it comes to stormy weather, 72% of those who participated felt some kind of anxiety, and the study also showed 11.7% of participants reported knowing someone who suffers from severe weather phobia.  It's also important to mention nearly most of the respondents questioned had some sort of experience with severe weather, especially bad storms and high winds.

The people behind the research believe this research helps better define what severe weather phobia is and demonstrates how more people might have it than you think.
