A powerful new production opens this week at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater.
Until the Flood is an in-depth exploration of race in America written and performed by Pulitzer prize finalist Dael Orlandersmith. The play explores the reactions of the St. Louis region to the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
After conducting dozens of interviews, Orlandersmith brings eight characters to the stage, all with different perspectives. Their stories reflect a range of human experiences and leave audiences examining their own reactions.
Jessica Tighe recently joined Orlandersmith on stage before the Milwaukee premiere of Until the Flood on March 13th.
