Visit the Racine Art Museum free of charge thanks to new partnership with Racine Public Library
RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Public Library has announced a new partnership with the Racine Art Museum.
Adults who have a valid Racine Public Library card will be able to check out a free guest pass to visit the Racine Art Museum's downtown campus, located at 441 Main Street.
"It's a way for the library to provide a valuable service, at no cost, so that any family, regardless of their financial situation, can enjoy the benefits of visiting a world-class art museum," a statement from the library said.
Each pass is valid for 7 days from the date it is checked out and provides one-time admission for two adults and up to four children under the age of 18.
Five passes will be available each month. Although library patrons will not be able to place a hold on the passes via the online circulation system, they can call the Circulation Desk (262-636-9241) to check on availability. If a pass is available, staff will set it aside for pickup.
