New Garden District mural unveiled near 11th and Layton

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A ribbon cutting took place today for a bright and colorful mural under a railroad bridge at 11th and Layton.
"With today's temperature and today's wind, we still have flowers blooming in the Garden District," said Ald. Terry Witkowski.
Several artists from the Walker's Point Creative Collective worked on the mural. The weather didn't stop the ceremony but the Garden District Christmas tree lighting ceremony scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled because of the wind.
