New Craft Brewery Receives Tanks and Fermenters

The Bavarian Bierhaus received tanks and fermenters.

They are converting the old Bavarian Inn Restaurant into a craft brewery, capable of producing more than 2,000 barrels of beer a year.

That means they've had to tear out floors and restructure the inside of the place to make room for all the new equipment.

"We have 17 fermenters and serving tanks.  We're gonna focus on craft beer, lagers and ales, primarily a lot of lagers."

All the hops and malt for the Bavarian Bierhaus will be imported from Germany.

Glendale officials are excited because it means new jobs.

The Bierhaus started interviewing for 200 positions this week.
