MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There is brand-new affordable housing in the Harbor District of Milwaukee called "The Corliss."
City leaders and project partners met on Thursday, Nov. 20, to introduce the new space.
It's got over 500 affordable apartment units for the community, including accessible housing options for seniors, larger options for families, and public pathways through the grounds.
It's all part of the city's goal to create a more inclusive and community driven city.
"This is a huge, huge ambitious affordable housing project really has transformed this neighborhood. There's a lot of growth happening here, and this only adds to the positive momentum that we're seeing here," said Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson.
