WAUKESHA COUNTY (CBS 58) – The National Weather Service is watching the bitter cold weather as they issue advisories, watches and warnings.
On Wednesday morning, the NWS said it was so cold, some of the computer models couldn’t register the -45 degree wind-chill temperatures.
You know it’s too cold when @NWSMKX says its windchill map has run out of colors to document the cold... the map will continue turn more white the colder it gets ? ? #mindblown #toocold #PolarVortex2019 #wiwx pic.twitter.com/Q53C5Ai9Z7

“We’re going to be very close to not getting above -13 today,” said Tim Halbach with the National Weather Service.
Halbach said although it was a mild start to winter, this won’t be the last of the cold weather and snow.
