National Cheesecake Day cooks up sweet discounts
Thursday, July 30th is National Cheesecake Day according to those who sell cheesecake, namely The Cheesecake Factory. Whether it’s a holiday you recognize or not, it’s nevertheless an opportunity to score some discount desserts. Today and tomorrow, The Cheesecake Factory is offering dine-in guests any slice of cheesecake half price.
There’s also a chance for a cash prize. The Cheesecake Factory is hoping to encourage cheesecake selfies this week with there “Say Cheesecake” Contest. On July 29, July 30 and July 31, patrons who snap a photo of themselves with a slice of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #SayCheesecakeContest will have a chance to win up to $1,000. You can also enter by posting a picture to The Cheesecake Factory’s Facebook page.
Locally, Festival Foods is also getting in on the fun. The Wisconsin grocer's cheesecakes are on sale all week for $6.98 in honor of National Cheesecake Day.
