National Ave. Ramp Set to Close Ahead of Tuesday Morning Commute

As work continues on the Zoo Interchange Construction Project ramp closures will be one of the many issues that drivers will need to contend with.

Starting Tuesday at 5 a.m. the National Ave. on ramp to I-894 southbound will be closed until the end of September.  The closure is necessary so crews can continue building the auxiliary lane from National to Oklahoma Ave.

Drivers should use either Hwy 100 or 92nd St. as an alternate to get around the ramp closure and rejoin the freeway at Beloit Rd. The ramp closure is expected to last until the end of September but could wrap sooner.  All closures are weather dependent.

Be sure to follow @ABrovelli and watch the CBS 58 Morning News for the latest on the Zoo Interchange Project and other construction projects throughout southeastern WI.
