MU commencement ceremonies moved to Summerfest's American Family Insurance Amphitheater

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Marquette University has long held its graduation ceremonies at Fiserv Forum and before that, the Bradley Center. 

This year, they're trying something new.

The university says it will host commencement ceremonies at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on the Summerfest grounds.

Two ceremonies -- one for undergraduates and one for graduate students -- both on Sunday, May 22.

A statement from Marquette promises what it calls a "dynamic in-person experience for grads and their families."

Both ceremonies will be livestreamed for family and friends who can't attend in person.
