MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's been a senior year unlike any other for students in our area.
Milwaukee Public Schools is celebrating some of its senior's accomplishments.
The district says Ronald Reagan High School students have already received over $11 million in scholarships for the fall.
MPS is highlighting four students from the high school who have been recruited by top-ranked private universities:
Justice Hoff, Cornell University
Samia Ahmed, Stanford University
Rihana Zaiani, University of Chicago
Samia Sheikh, Yale University
"It's something I never thought I'd be able to say, it's sometimes an arbitrary title, I mean college is college and you're getting a higher education, but I mean it's something I can work for coming from a low-income background and like Milwaukee Public Schools system," said Justice Hoff, who will be attending Cornell University, when asked how it feels to be able to say he's an Ivy League student.
Sheikh also received the prestigious Coca-Cola Scholarship. According to the district, only 150 high school students were chosen out of 93, 075 applicants.
