MPD: Robbery leads to non-fatal shooting Sunday near 44th and Congress
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, Oct. 17, near 44th and Congress.
Police say the shooting happened at approximately 12:50 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities report that the victim, a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained non-fatal injuries.
Milwaukee police say that the victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
MPD officials say the shooting appears to be the result of a robbery.
Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
