MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police say an MPD recruit officer has been fired.
Joel Swieciak is accused of being drunk while attending training with weapons. A trainer on Monday noticed him holding his weapon differently than normal.
Multiple breathalyzer tests were given and the recruit is said to have failed each one.
The Milwaukee Police Department says Swieciak was fired for violating the department's code of conduct.
