MPD: Man shot and killed near Hampton and Evans

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is investigating a fatal shooting Sunday, Dec. 19, near Hampton and Evans.

Milwaukee police say the shooting happened at approximately 2:57 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities report that the victim, a male in his 20's, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.

MPD reportedly continues to seek unknown suspects.
