MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An 18-year-old man was seriously hurt following a shooting that happened near 32nd and St. Paul on Sunday, July 16. 

Police say just before midnight, the victim was traveling southbound in a vehicle and was shot. 

The vehicle then came to a stop after hitting an unoccupied car.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. 

Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect. Anyone with information should contact police.
