MPD: Man arrested after shooting at fleeing burglary suspect

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police say a man was arrested early Friday morning after shooting toward a fleeing car burglar.

Authorities say the man saw someone trying to break into his car near 105th and Darnel around 4:15 a.m. The man confronted the suspect and a physical fight broke out. The suspect then began to run away and the man shot toward the suspect.

It is unknown if the suspect was hurt as police are still searching for the person.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
