MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are asking for help identifying the person who shot three people outside the Miramar Theatre. 

Police are asking for anyone with information, photos, or cell phone video of the incident to call 414-935-7360.

The shooting happened Saturday night when people were leaving a concert. 

Three people were hurt but they are expected to be okay. 

Organizers with Miramar Theatre sent out a statement that reads in part, "We will be reviewing our security protocol with Milwaukee Police Department and be discontinuing third party rentals for these types of events indefinitely."

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Three people were injured by gunfire at the Miramar Theatre Saturday night.   According to the Milwaukee Police Department, a 25-year-old man and two 20-year-old women were wounded and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It all began around 8:10 PM during a live concert at the theater on Oakland Avenue near Locust Street.  According to, MPD there was a fight inside the theater and as the audience began to exit the theater an unknown suspect began firing multiple gunshots into the crowd, striking the man and two women.   

The Milwaukee Police Department is searching for the shooting suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police says three people were shot at the Miramar Theatre on Oakland Ave., near Locust St. Milwaukee Fire Department also responded to the incident. According to police records, the time of the call was about 8:20 p.m. 

Milwaukee Fire Department said that two private ambulances were used, which usually indicates non-serious injuries.

The Miramar Theatre is located near UW-Milwaukee and is popular for concerts.

UWM sent out a text-alert to students at 8:53 p.m. It reads: "Report of shots fired at 2844 N. Oakland Ave. Milwaukee Police are investigating. Possible suspect vehicle is a white Chevrolet Cavalier."
