MPD investigating multiple shootings Saturday and Sunday, none were fatal

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police are investigating a number of shooting incidents that happened Saturday and early Sunday morning,  none of which were fatal.

Around 5 PM Saturday, a 34-year-old man was shot while in the area of W Arthur Ave and S 12th Street.  According to the MPD, the victim and suspect where involved in an on-going dispute.  When the pair confronted each other Saturday, the shooting occurred.   The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wound. 

A dispute and fight lead to a shooting on Milwaukee’s south side just before 9 PM Saturday.   According to the Police, the dispute escalated into a fight in the area of S 38th Street and W National Avenue.   During the fight one of the individuals got a gun and shot the 24-year-old victim.   The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.   The MPD is continuing to look for the suspect in the incident.

 The Milwaukee Police say a 32-year-old man was shot around 1:30 AM Sunday as he was walking in the area of N 20th Street and W Capitol Drive.  A second individual fired multiple gunshots towards the victim.  The 32-year-old was struck and collapsed a short distance away.   The Milwaukee Fire Department treated the man at the scene before taking him to a local hospital.  The Police are continuing to look for the suspected shooter.

Around 2:20 Sunday morning, the MPD was called to a report of shots fired outside of a bar at N 36th Street and W Silver Spring Drive.  Officers were able to recover nine shell-casings in the middle of the intersection, but could not confirm that anyone was shot since no victim was located.
