MPD investigating 2 shootings within 30 minutes of each other

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shootings that happened within 30 minutes of each other and left two people injured Wednesday night, Dec. 1, 2021.

The first shooting happened around 9 p.m. near 25th and Wisconsin Ave. A 34-year-old Milwaukee man showed up at a local hospital with a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation. Milwaukee police are seeking unknown suspects in relation to the shooting. 

Milwaukee police are also investigating a shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. A 41-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a gunshot wound to the face and presented himself to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.

The location of the shooting, and the circumstances leading up to the shooting, are still under investigation. Milwaukee police are looking for unknown suspects in relation to the shooting.
