MPD investigates four overnight shootings
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee police are investigating four overnight shootings that occurred Friday, Oct. 9 through Saturday morning.
11th and Burleigh
Police say a 36-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non-life threatening injuries after he was shot near 11th and Burleigh around 9:51 p.m. Friday. Police say the victim was walking when he was approached by the armed suspect who demanded property and fired shots at the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. There are no current suspects.
42nd and Lloyd
A 28-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non life threatening injuries after being shot around 1 a.m. near 42nd and Lloyd Saturday. Police say the investigation is on going and there are no known suspects. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
15th and Meinecke
A 49-year-old Milwaukee man was shot during a robbery around 3:57 a.m. near 15th and Meinecke Saturday.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
There are no current suspects.
34th and Montana
A 27-year-old sustained non-life threatening injuries after being shot around 5:15 a.m. Saturday near 34th and Montana. Police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. There are no known suspects.
