MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police Department District 3 hosted a meet-and-greet event Wednesday, Sept. 29, with a newly promoted captain.
Captain Herb Glidewell was able to engage with the community at Sunshine Park in Milwaukee.
Cpt. Glidewell says he is happy to meet people face-to-face.
"Getting to meet people face-to-face, not over internet, or zoom, like we've all been accustomed to lately, being out here meeting people face-to-face and hearing their concerns is what's good for me," Glidewell said.
Cpt. Glidewell says he's been working for the city for 25 years.
He was a lieutenant at District 7 before being promoted to captain.
