MPD: 5 injured in several shootings
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating several shootings that took place Tuesday night, July 27 into early Wednesday morning, July 28.
The first happened Tuesday night around 6:00 p.m. near 60th and Stark St. The victim, a 30-year-old Milwaukee man, sustained serious injuries. He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
Police are also investigating a double shooting that occurred on Tuesday at approximately 7:04 p.m., in the 35th and Fond Du Lac Ave. The victims, a 26-year-old Milwaukee male and a 28-year-old Milwaukee male, sustained non-fatal gunshot injuries. They both arrived at a local hospital and were treated for their injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
Another shooting in under investigation that occurred on Tuesday at approximately 8:59 p.m., near 53rd and Hadley. The victim is a 23-year-old Milwaukee man. He sustained serious gunshot injuries. He arrived at a local hospital and is in stable condition. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
Milwaukee police are investigating another shooting that occurred on Wednesday, July 28th around 2:30 a.m., on the 49th and North Ave. The victim, a 33-year-old Milwaukee male, suffered non-life threatening injuries. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and Milwaukee police are seeking an unknown suspect at this time.
