Mount Pleasant police investigating stabbing of 59-year-old man

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Mount Pleasant police are investigating a stabbing that happened near Durand and Kearney Avenues on Thursday, July 14.
It happened at approximately 9:23 p.m.
According to police, a 59-year-old Mount Pleasant man was stabbed.
South Shore Fire Department arrived and treated the victim's injuries. He was then transported to the hospital.
A suspect has not yet been identified.
An investigation remains active. Police do not believe there is any additional risk to the public.
