Mount Pleasant man charged with repeated sexual assault of minor he met on App

A Mount Pleasant man has been charged with repeated sexual assault child beginning in June 26 and ending July 16. Salvador Escobedo, 23 years-old, met the victim on Meetme app.
The victim let members of Meetme know she was 13 years old. Escobedo arranged to pick her up in Kenosha.
He took her by the lake in Racine. They went to the lightouse and then to his house to watch a movie.
She told Escobedo she was unsure of having sex with defendant because of their age difference. He told her it was okay.
There were several sexual encounters between the two at Escobedo's house.
