MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- High School students are getting ready to rule the runway.
Mount Mary University held its annual fashion academy this week.
It gives aspiring designers the chance to learn about the industry.
This week, the students learned about merchandising, styling a store, making patterns and sewing their own creations.
And tonight -- on July 1 -- it was the final fashion show.
"I feel like I've grown so much where I've started," said student designer Hilary Ramirez. "It's just really amazing on what I've created."
Most of the designs for tonight's show were created in just a week.
Others put together outfits to show how to style yourself for an interview or other occasions.
