Motorists asked to avoid Highway 50 at the river east of 118th Avenue in Pleasant Prairie

The Village of Pleasant Prairie in Kenosha County advises that motorists during their commute on Thursday should try to avoid Highway 50 at the River where it crosses in the approximate 11700 block.

High water is still on the roadway and it should be avoided if at all possible.

This is for both east and westbound traffic.

Numerous Kenosha County Roadways remain a problem from the recent rainfall and flooding.

Extra attention and time is requested for all travel in the County.
