Motorcyclist killed in Washington Co. crash, Oconomowoc man arrested for OWI

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 51-year-old Hartford man has died following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Erin Wednesday, June 21. 

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, a northbound motorcycle struck a southbound car around 11:40 p.m. in the area of Highway 167 and County Trunk K.

The motorcyclist was ejected and died at the scene. 

Authorities say the driver of the car, a 37-year-old Oconomowoc man, displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for operating while impaired. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sherif's Office. 

The sheriff's office says this is the ninth traffic fatality their office has investigated this year.
