Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after hitting traffic sign, going through electric fence in Racine County

TOWN OF RAYMOND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A motorcyclist has serious injuries after the Racine County Sheriff's Office says he crashed into an electric animal fence. 

The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. Thursday on CTH K west of 108th Street in the Town of Raymond. Investigators say the motorcyclist was eastbound on CTH K when he went into the south side ditch, hit a traffic sign, and went through the electric fence. 

The Sheriff's Office says the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was taken by Flight for Life to a Milwaukee hospital. 

The crash is still under investigation.
