Sheriff's office: Mother, son arrested in Racine County drug bust
RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A mother and son were arrested Thursday, Nov. 4, following the execution of a search warrant in Racine County.
Agents with the Racine County Metro Drug Unit served the warrant near 16th and Roosevelt Avenue in Racine around 8:40 a.m. Thursday following multiple controlled purchases from one of the occupants of the residence.
During the search, agents located approximately six pounds of marijuana, 2.8 grams of psilocybin, a FN 9mm handgun with three loaded magazines, $25,981 in cash, digital scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say they took Jaiden Kruger, 19, and Danielle Kruger, 36, into custody.
Danielle is said to have a prior conviction for possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
Charges are being recommended to the District Attorney’s Office on Jaiden Kruger for:
- Possession of T.H.C. with intent to deliver
- Three counts deliver T.H.C
- Keeper of a drug house for sales/manufacture
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Within 1,000 ft. of a school
Charges being recommended to the District Attorney’s Office on Danielle Kruger for:
- Possession of T.H.C. with intent to deliver while armed
- Keeper of a drug house for sales/manufacture
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Repeat drug offender
- 2nd degree reckless endangering safety
- Within 1,000 ft. of a school
A child believed to be about two years old was also located in the residence. The Racine County Human Services Department was contacted and responded under the drug endangered children protocol.
