Mother of 4-Year-Old Arrested

Milwaukee Police believe the 4-year-old fatally shot himself.
The incident happened on Friday around 5:00 PM on 15th and North Avenue.
The child is identified as Solomon J. Smith.
The 21-year-old mother of the child was arrested and booked for leaving/storing a firearm within the reach/easy access of a child. She was then released and ordered into the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office next week to have this charge reviewed.
